Our client is is a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of laser marking systems headquartered in a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Letchworth with sales and service operations in the USA and a network of distributors around the world.
Working as part of a small multi-disciplined software team, you will be responsible for continued development of existing products and full systems lifecycle responsibility for bespoke software products.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, highly competent C# developer with commercial experience of the .NET platform, and be capable of providing accurate timescale estimations for software projects. Additionally you will be expected to create software specifications and design documentation, write test procedures and software documentation.
Qualifications Required: Min. 2+ years C# programming .NET 2.0 or 3.5
Structured analysis and design
Competence with Microsoft compilers
Software estimation
The Ideal candidate will also have experience of the following: Hardware interfacing, Windows Presentation Foundation, Communications Protocols (TCP/IP, Serial, USB, FTP) .NET 4.0, C++, 2D/3D Graphics API's
